AP Cabinet given its nod for naming AP Capital after Amaravati. Chandrababu Naidu believes Name & Vastu of Capital region will work in favour of AP.
As per the Master Plan approved by AP Cabinet, About 7,000 sq km will be treated as Metropolitan and a Worldclass Capital will be built across Thulluru.
The places were there is scope for Corridors have been identified in Capital region. For the same, The area covered by Capital has been divided into 7 nodes. 1) Nandigama Corridor: Pharma, Biotech, Plastic Packaging Industries; 2) Gudiwada Corridor: Green Industries; 3) Gannavaram Corridor: IT & ITes, Eletronics and Harware Industries; 4) Guntur Corridor: Food Processing, Non-Metalic & Textile Industries; 5) Tenali Corridor; 6) Sattenapalli 7)Nuzvid Corridor.
Vijayawada - Business Hub
Gannavaram - Aviation
Guntur - Agricultural Hub
Tenali - Cultural Capital
About 1.5 crore people will be living in AP Capital by 2050 and 60 lakh jobs will be created. High Speed Train for meeting public transport demand and expansion of Gannavaram airport
